At Bridge2Reach, volunteers play a crucial role in the success of our mission. We welcome every individual who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of foster kids to join our team.
Working with the team/leadership
In our team, we highly value communication and collaboration. So as a part of our team, you would get to work closely with countless of people and leaders from all over the world, all with the skills and interests to improve the lives of foster kids. No experiences will be required, though encouraged. The only thing we are looking for is the passion to build a new future and education system for these children. Here, not only will you get to make a difference in the community, but you can also gain experiences and skills to build on your personal life.
Visiting Foster Cares
As a part of our program, you get to visit foster care centers and make new memorable memories with all the members, faculties, and children. You will be able to connect with these children by offering a listening ear to their unique stories and experiences. Our team engages in interactive activities and workshops designed to boost their self-esteem, enhance their educational pursuits, and provide emotional support. Here, visiting foster care is not just a momentary interaction; it is the start of a lasting bond.
Our Departments:
Media
The department is responsible for effectively communicating the organization's mission and spreading its influence to the public. They will have to monitor our social media accounts: regularly update and interact with the audience on these platforms. It is also their job to develop content, showing our works and impacts. Such includes: designing posts, filming videos, editing vlogs, and many more!
Finance
The department is responsible for ensuring the financial stability and transparency of our organization. It is their job to raise and manage our funds through various fundraising plans and grants/donations to support our programs. It is also up to them to provide accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Operation
The department is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning and efficiency of the organization's programs. They will have to pay close attention to the timeline, budget, and goals to organize a fun and informative event for the children. The department's work is closely aligned with the organization's mission of providing educational resources and mental support to foster kids.
Outreach
The department is responsible for reaching out to foster care centers, local schools, and communities to raise awareness about the organization's mission. It is also their job to keep in touch and build strong connections with supporters and donors. They are crucial in expanding the organization's reach, ensuring that its programs and services effectively reach those in need.
